Welcome to The Editor's Wastebasket - a site dedicated to tabletop RPGs and a broad range of systems. I started this site when I was a prolific player of Palladium Books' games, the Rifts RPG in particular. Post-college, I played a mix of Palladium games and Dungeons & Dragons, Revised 3rd Edition (aka D&D 3.5). After that, things became a bit murky as I sought other systems and, in some cases, write some of my own titles (you should check out Apokalyptic Publishing if you're so inclined).
A Forever GM, I have been running all things Savage Worlds since 2008, with my gateway drug being 50 Fathoms (because who doesn't enjoy a great pirate-themed roleplaying game?). Since then, I've also played and run games using TinyD6 (Gallant Knight Games), AGE System (Green Ronin Games), and now spend my game planning time either running some of my favorite old settings using a new system (such as Dragonstar for D&D 3.5, but run using Savage Worlds: Adventure Edition and the updated Fantasy Companion) or cobbling together epic high fantasy adventures in my own setting (coming "soon" from Apokalyptic Publishing).
If you like what I'm doing here, you can buy me a coffee to support my efforts!

The Order of the Serpent
This is a little something I cooked up sometime ago and happened across on my hard drive while looking at some older files for Palladium Fantasy (I've also located some others that I'll be revising and posting during the next few months). I'm currently planning to make up some of the characters…
Allies & Adversaries
Nikolas Dimiye
This is a character I made for a PBP game some time ago that I had to drop out of due to time constraints. The background is a bit tailored to that game, but he's an interesting character nonetheless. He was last seen in a wilderness assault against a large group of brodkil…
Allies & Adversaries
Sho Yamato
This is a character that I was never able to start playing, but was meant for a Phase World PBeM that never got off the ground. I seem to have hit a few of those. Background Little is known about Sho Yamato and his past. Even less seems to be known about his present. Sho was the member of the…

Setting Expansion
The House of the Leopard
The House of the Leopard has always produced the largest number of duelists. Why this is, is unknown, but it is most likely due to the exceptional physical prowess present in all members of the House (minimum PP of 22). This house began nearly 10,000 years ago, when the Amaki were still tribal in…

Adventures
History Repeats
This plot is a bit unpleasant and has no happy ending to it. I would suggest it be used only in the "darker theme" type of games. It is mostly a morality play, who will the players help, the "innocent" man or the teen with no control over his actions. Hook: The characters will be somehow drawn to…
Adventures

Hook: The characters have just arrived in a small town with no know history of the occult and paranormal. Perhaps they are researching a local legend, following up information on a rare text, or simply wander into the city by accident. In any event, the group will be forced to spend some time in…

Allies & Adversaries
Anthony Jackson (Jax)
Chaos. The one true force. Well, at least in my life. I grew up with a hard life. The neighborhood was bad. Real bad. My parents, well, as long as they lived anyway, were drug addicts. Bastards. Luckily, life wasn't so hard for my mom before she had me, so I didn't come out with a bunch of fuckin'…

Setting Expansion
A World Torn Asunder (Part 1)
A while ago, I got into a debate about the many fronts the Coalition faces, how this might affect them, and the possibilities of who might win. It also turned out to be a great discussion about the factors that could affect the outcome of every war the Coalition States has entered in to, mostly…

Setting Expansion
The Brodkil Empire
The Brodkil Empire arose out of the efforts of several Brodkil warlords. It began before the Post-Apocalyptic calendar as a few scattered tribes allied together to destroy the, then fledgling, NGR. The tribes' warriors, all superior to the devastated human population, came crashing out of Russia,…
