| I uploaded photos from my road trip into the mountains Saturday afternoon. I missed Cade's Cove when I came through the Smokies a year ago, but I made up for it by going to view the fall foliage. Amazing! The pictures don't do this place justice, but it was a great drive. There were a lot of people (I didn't realize just how many people would be doing the same thing), so next year I'm taking a three-day weekend and going on a Monday. :-) I'm involved in gaming again. Took me about 6 months to really get settled, but I started actively looking for a new group to game with. I found a great GURPS group and play that once a week. And there's a second group that's currently playing Tekumel and will switch to something else once the current storyline wraps up. Haven't had a chance to meet them, but the GM seemed pretty laid back. For anyone else trying to find a group, I'd recommend meetup.com. I tried a bunch of different routes, but it seems to be a really good spot to meet groups of people with similar interests. It's a social networking site that involves real life, face-to-face gatherings. It's kind of nice. That's about all that's happening here. I'm looking forward to some new Palladium releases, but till I see the next Rifter and Dyval, I'm working on my GURPS collection. Have fun and game on! Cheers! Thoth |
