The Journals of Frost

13th day of Greenview, Year of the Scarab -- It would seem our the throne has made us the target of bounty hunters for a second time. Though not a cowardly ambush, we were waylayed on the road toward Kighfalton by a band of elementalists. To make matters worse, there was one for each element. After they disabled our wagon, we were finally able to defeat the mages. Dagmaer appeared to go berserk, slaying two of them and routing them while I forced the third to retreat (Dagmaer caught up with that one and he too was slain. Were it not for the kindness of some of the local farmers, our journey would have been made far more difficult. We were able to replace our wagon. From there, we left so as to not bring any troubles descending upon.

16th day of Greenview, Year of the Scarab -- It seems that Dagmaer has been allowing the throne to guide us somewhat. The throne "requested" we stop at a local temple of Isis. After a rather amusing display by Dagmaer that raised more than a few eyebrows, we were able to get the throne inside where the spirits promptly escaped to some place beneath the church which is, as of yet, undiscovered. I currently sit in one of many meditation chambers, pondering our move for the temple is surrounded by a small army of House Skryme. It appears we led them straight to what they were looking for. It would seem that luck is with us, though, we were able to evacuate the priests of Isis before they were considered accomplices.

17th day of Greenview, Year of the Scarab -- I write with a heavy hand this Spring night, for a great warrior has fallen in defense of all that is good. We were forced to attack a party of House Skryme after they threatened the foundation of the church, particularly the Kobold earth mage whom we have encountered before. I was able to defeat the water mage, another Wolfen, and force him to retreat, but I was unable to save Dagmaer. She fell from the roof of the temple into the earth mage's chasm after being struck down, I know not by who. I will avenge her death, in time. For now, I must stop the excavation of whatever lies beneath this temple. Sonin informs me that they dig for a chamber, but do not know what it contains. I asked She of Countless Names for guidance and received only a single phrase: "do it first." The gods do work in mysterious ways. May Kym-Nark-Mar give me guidance. This may be my final journal.
