For those of you that have stopped by before, welcome back! If you haven't already looked around, this is my little corner of the Internet that contains 15+ years of tabletop RPG resources. There's a heavy Palladium presence since I played their games from the time I was in middle school (about 12-13 for those that may not be familiar with US education groupings) up until several years ago. I'm still working through a backlog of stuff unearthed from my hard drive (and in need of some rewriting), but I continue to post new resources as I use it in my current Savage Rifts campaign.

While I still love Palladium and their settings, I've opted to pursue simpler mechanics. After backing the Breachworld RPG by Jason Richards Publishing (you might recognize his name if you're a Rifts fan), I fell in love with the Mini6 system, and you'll find some resources for that RPG here. Currently, I'm back in the realm of Rifts Earth and my familiarity and love of that setting is spurring a lot of new translations to the Savage Rifts RPG. As campaigns come and go, you'll see new material posted that relates to the epic storylines I seek to tell along with my players. What follows are many, many resources for these campaigns that I hope you will find useful in your own campaign.

Tattoo Magic is a special kind of magic with a special Arcane Background and some associated Edges. What follows is more information regarding the Arcane Background and additional Edges available only to arcane characters and Tattooed Men.

One of my favorite OGL settings was a dark fantasy world created by Fantasy Flight Games (in the heyday of d20, they were cranking out quality products left and right). The best way to describe it would be Middle Earth, but Sauron won the war. There's a lot of very Tolkien-esque concepts in the setting, but their approach and the concept of Heroic Paths was a pretty cool addition to the ruleset. Sadly, this came about when I was really just "collecting" RPGs since I had no group and I've never had the chance to play. Now, with my interest in Savage Worlds, I wanted to bring the amazing setting of Midnight to Savage Worlds and, hopefully, get the opportunity to run at least one adventure set in the Savage Age of Shadow with my current group of players. What follows is a brief introduction and in the coming weeks, you'll discover (or re-discover) the races of Aryth and the land of Eredane.

Challenges will present a scenario that can be used in most any context. This is the first in a series intended to make overland travel a bit more interesting that just getting from point A to point B. Each challenge will include a brief setup of the events, the appropriate genres (if any), and some sample methods of resolution for two or three systems.

I've been road tripping for the past week, riding my motorcycle up from the Southwest to the Pacific Northwest. Over the almost 1900 miles, I went through plenty of wilderness and parks and I was struck with an interesting idea for a campaign. I'm going to start this out with some basic ideas and directions to go on, but I really want to flesh out some of the factions in the future.

Before The Fall, advanced prosthetics were used for many reasons - from military to hard labor. While the technology to manufacture advanced robotic limbs is extremely limited, as is anyone with the knowledge to properly attach and maintain the cybernetic links with the host body, there are still those that find the risk worth the rewards. Some simply undergo augmentation to help their community (either through increased labor capabilities or improved combat ability) while others see it as little more than granted power over unenhanced.
